With an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of our students, staff, and administrators, ACCEL is following the recommendation from Governor Ducey and Superintendent Hoffman and is suspending on-campus school services. We expect to re-open the campus after April 30th. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates on our Facebook page and here at ACCEL'S COVID-19 page as well. Please visit for continued updates, facts and to learn about the measures you can take to remain healthy. Thank you.

ACCEL Adult Services and The BISTÅ Center will remain open during this school break.

Services for the Visually Impaired

Each student with a visual impairment will have his or her own unique visual needs and may require adaptations to the environment, materials, instruction, and curriculum. The Teacher for Visually Impaired may work directly with students and train classroom staff on how to best present classroom materials, providing preferential seating, providing real objects and real-life experiences, and how to assist students with accessing their environment. The Teacher for Visually Impaired works collaboratively with the classroom teacher and other support staff to provide the necessary resources they need to help each student succeed.
