Your Donation Helps Children and Adults with Disabilities

Each year donations from people like you enable ACCEL to serve over 300 children and adults with a variety of challenges that make it difficult to live full and productive lives. Vocational students learn skills for jobs, educational and therapeutic services are provided to children, and an enterprise called Michael’s Garden operates an adult business that generates vocational training and funds to support our programs. When you  donate to ACCEL, you are making a tremendous difference by helping individuals become productive members of society.

ACCEL is a tax-exempt charitable organization. We are able to offer many activities and life experiences beyond those that are funded by tuition because of the generosity of our contributors. Your donations retain valuable employees, build stronger facilities, and enrich the lives of our students.

How You Can Help!

Arizona Tax Credit

By redirecting your taxes, you can help create tuition assistance for families who qualify and desire a private education for their child with special needs. It helps you because you receive a dollar-for-dollar credit against the taxes you would otherwise pay to Arizona, so your contribution really doesn’t cost you anything out of pocket.

Annual Appeal

The Annual Appeal is sent by mail in November. We request unrestricted donations to sustain the daily activities of ACCEL educational programs, Michael’s Garden and The BISTÅ Center.

Matching Gifts

Many employers match dollar for dollar, the donations employee’s make to a charity. If your employer has a Matching Gifts program, see your Human Resources department about doubling your donation.

Pave-the-Way

There is an opportunity to “LEAVE YOUR LEGACY” on the ACCEL “Walkway.” This exciting program enables families and individuals in the community to support ACCEL by helping to pave our “Walkway” in which to represent students, teachers, classrooms, local businesses and friends of ACCEL.

In-kind Donations

In-kind donations cover goods, services and expertise. Gifts can range from school supplies, sports equipment, computers, brochures, auction items for our various special events, such as golf tournament, gala and Boo Bash and pumpkins for our fall festival. Are you looking for a new computer? ACCEL is looking for flat screen monitors and computers.
