Meeting needs...

 ACCEL was founded in 1980 as LATCH School, to serve individuals with cognitive, behavioral, and physical challenges by prodiving research-based educational, therapeutic and vocational programs. ACCEL responded to the needs of the community by establishing an on-site staff day care center in 1987, a community and special needs daycare/preschool in 1991, a public school consortium on a district campus in 1992, an east valley site in 1995, and an innovative adult program in 2002.  ACCEL contracts with over 40 Maricopa County school districts and serves over 300 special needs students on five sites within the county.
